Bird – Boat Billed Heron
Fresno Chaffee Zoo has a variety of animals, including my favorite a giraffe feeding station, Stingray Bay, a Sea Lion Cove and Bird Show.
It is a smaller zoo on only 18 acres, but we loved our visit! And are definitely going back. It is a mature zoo so the grounds are well covered wish lush tress and plenty of shade. The grounds are predominantly flat easy to walk and navigate a wheel chair or stroller.
Lots of the exhibits allowed you to get close to the animals without gates and fences.
Admission was only $7.00!
If you in the area or passing though, we really enjoyed a slow pace stroll through the Fresno Chaffee Zoo. Cheaper than a movie! and I’m still smiling (:
