My poor bear. When I was about 8 my mum told me that if Boaz* the bear needed to go through the wash again, he might not survive. Yesterday the cat weed on him, so there was no choice. He is just about in one piece but the utility room is littered with his insides (foam, rather than guts).
I am reminded of a quote I once read: A washed bear is not a happy bear. There are few sadder sights than a wet bear hanging from the washing line by its ears.
